🍂⚽ Fall soccer hits different! 🥶 Cold mornings, competitive matches, and teammates who are always ready to battle together! 💪 Our U9B River boys were bundled up in Middleton this morning, proving that a little cold weather won’t slow them down! All of our players are putting in the work, competing hard, and growing stronger as a team every week. 💙🖤 And we are HERE FOR IT! Fall soccer season at its finest! ⚽🍁 #NorthBoiseFC #NBFC #FallSoccer #CompetitiveSoccer #Teamwork

Three of our teams traveled to the Canyon Rim Fall Classic last weekend, representing North Boise FC with competitive soccer, determination, and plenty of team pride! 💙 U11G & U12G Capitol took on strong competition, battled for every ball, and continued to show the technical development, teamwork, and confidence they’ve been building all season. These are the experiences that push players to grow, challenge themselves, and take their game to the next level! 🏆 U11B Capitol — CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to our boys on bringing home the tournament title! A fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of their hard work, commitment, and teamwork! And while the competition was the focus, there was still time for a costume contest, team bonding, and making memories together. 🎃 This is what we’re building at North Boise FC: a club where players are challenged to improve, encouraged to compete, and supported by teammates and coaches who share their passion for the game. We’re proud of the players representing our club, the coaches investing in their development, and the families who make it all possible.

💙⚽ NBFC VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: MICHELLE JAMES! ⚽💙 If you’ve been around the NBFC fields, chances are you’ve seen Michelle cheering someone on! Michelle is one of our amazing team managers who consistently goes above and beyond! From keeping everyone organized and on track with games to hyping up her team in PlayMetrics and cheering from the sidelines, she does it all! But what really makes Michelle special is that she’s always looking out for the entire club, not just her own team! Whether it’s helping families find discounted hotels for tournaments, making sure players have rides (she’s been known to shuttle kids all over town! 🚗), or simply stepping up wherever help is needed, Michelle is always thinking about how she can make things easier for others. And while she has two players at NBFC, you’ll often find her cheering on other NBFC teams, too! She genuinely loves watching players throughout the club grow, improve, and succeed. Michelle is such a great example of what makes our NBFC community special. She reminds us that being part of a club means supporting ALL our players and families. As a small thank-you for all she does, Michelle and her family got to enjoy the @acboise AC Boise game on Saturday! ⚽ We loved being able to recognize her and show our appreciation! Thank you, Michelle, for everything you do! We’re so lucky to have you as part of the NBFC family! 💙👏 And just so grateful for all of our Team Managers helping to keep everyone organized and ready! ⚽️ #NorthBoiseFC #NBFCFamily #VolunteerSpotlight #YouthSoccer

🎉⚽ A BIG congratulations to Coach Zaden on earning his U.S. Soccer National C License! Zaden’s commitment to his players and teams is something special. You’ll find him at the fields well before practice starts, putting in the extra time to prepare and give his players the best experience possible. And did we mention he makes the drive from Twin Falls to Boise almost daily just to coach?! His dedication certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by his players, especially his girls teams, who have made sure to welcome him with plenty of pink glitter! ✨ In addition to coaching with NBFC, Zaden also coaches for Idaho ODP, continuing to share his knowledge and passion for the game with players across the state. Earning a National C License takes time, hard work, and a commitment to continued growth as a coach. Zaden embodies all of that, and we’re incredibly lucky to have him as part of the NBFC family. Congratulations, Coach Zaden! Thank you for everything you do for our players and our club! ⚽️ #NorthBoiseFC #CoachSpotlight #USSoccer #NationalCLicense #CoachDevelopment

Different ages. Same huddle. Same feeling. 💙⚽ One photo is our U9 boys. The other is our U13 boys. Four years apart, but these moments look pretty similar. The huddle is where teammates come together. Where they encourage each other, refocus, celebrate, and remember they’re part of something bigger than themselves. At U9, they’re just beginning to learn what it means to be a teammate. By U13, those lessons have grown right alongside their game. Skills develop. Players grow. The competition changes. But the power of being part of a TEAM stays the same. 💙 #NorthBoiseFC #TeamFirst #MoreThanSoccer #competetivesoccer⚽️

⚽💙 Friday Night Under the Lights! Our U13B Skyline and U11B Skyline teams had an awesome opportunity Friday night serving as Ball Kids for @boisestatesoccer as the Broncos took on Northern Colorado! The boys had a front-row seat to an exciting 3–0 Boise State win and were focused all night on doing their part to help keep the game moving. Even better was getting to watch the Broncos up close—their talent, teamwork, work ethic, and intensity were such a great example for our young players. Experiences like this give our kids a chance to see where hard work and a love for the game can take them! A huge thank you to Boise State Soccer for giving our players such a memorable experience. We love being part of Boise’s soccer community and giving our NBFC players opportunities to be inspired both on and off the field! 💙⚽ GO BRONCOS & GO NBFC!

Team bonding + some great soccer! Our U12 Boys River and U10/11 Boys Gernika teams headed out to watch @boisehighboyssoccer last night to cheer on the Brave! It was a great opportunity for our players to spend time together as teammates, learn from some awesome role models, and watch high school soccer up close. And what a game to watch! After falling behind early, the Brave battled back for an exciting 3–1 come-from-behind win! 🙌 A huge thank you to Boise High for welcoming our NBFC players and families out to the field. We loved being there and supporting players our younger athletes can look up to. We’ll be back to cheer on the Brave! #NorthBoiseFC #NBFC #BoiseHigh #GoBrave

🌟⚽ PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: FINN HILLIS From his early soccer days at School of Soccer to now playing with our U11B River team, Finn Hillis is a pretty great example of what a true love for the game looks like. 💙 Finn is a dream teammate—positive, fun, focused, hardworking, and always ready to play. His passion for soccer goes far beyond team practices and games. He spent his summer training with @kvellsportsperfomance , where his hard work even earned him a shoutout from their coaches! Camps, indoor leagues, extra training…if there’s an opportunity to get on the field, Finn is there. ⚽️ But what makes us especially proud is the person and teammate he is while doing it. He brings a great attitude, works hard, supports the players around him, and genuinely loves being part of the game. Tonight, Finn gets to enjoy an @acboise game using our NBFC tickets, and we can’t think of a more deserving player to celebrate! 🔥 THE NEW NBFC KITS HAVE HIT THE FIELD! 🔥 We thought the mock-ups of our new North Boise FC x hummel uniforms looked pretty cool…but they turned out even better in person. Seeing our players out on the field this weekend in the new kits made them officially feel like NBFC. We love the subtle Boise details, our new crest, the classic hummel look, and how everything came together. And we are incredibly thankful to have @urbansoccerpark proudly represented on the back of every jersey as our marquee sponsor. Urban Soccer Park’s support goes far beyond putting their name on a uniform. Their partnership helps support the everyday work of running our club and allows us to continue providing opportunities for hundreds of players throughout our community. We couldn’t do what we do without great local partners who believe in youth soccer and believe in NBFC. Thank you, Urban Soccer Park! A huge shoutout also goes to @tursisocceridaho They worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to get these new kits ready and into the hands of our players. We appreciate all the time, effort, and attention they put into making this launch happen. And @hummelnorthamerica …these kits are 🔥. #NorthBoiseFC #NBFC #Hummel #UrbanSoccerPark

🌟 NBFC Spotlight: Ali Rush 🌟 This week, we are thrilled to celebrate Ali Rush from our 2013 Girls Blue team as our NBFC Spotlight Player! As part of her recognition, Ali will receive 4 tickets to watch AC Boise this Wednesday! ⚽🎟️ This season, Ali has fully embraced the challenge of transitioning to 11v11 soccer. Her positive attitude, work ethic, and leadership have stood out every step of the way. Whether she’s encouraging her teammates, giving compliments, or helping others understand how to challenge her as a defender or goalkeeper, Ali continues to make those around her better. Watching her growth both on and off the field has been incredible, and she truly is a joy to coach. We can’t wait to see where her soccer journey takes her next! Ali is also a member of the 2013 Girls ODP Team and was recently selected to represent Idaho at the West Region Summer ID Camp as part of the next step in the USYS Olympic Development Program pathway. She earned this opportunity through standout performances at the Far West ODP Championships in Arizona and continues to pursue excellence toward interregional and national-level opportunities. 👏🔥 One of the best parts of celebrating Ali is knowing she got her start in the @schoolofsoccerboise Select Program. From the moment Grayson steps on the field, he brings energy, positivity, and a contagious love for the game that impacts everyone around him — teammates, coaches, referees, and even opposing teams. His attitude, effort, and passion make him such a special part of the NBFC family. This season, Grayson has shown incredible growth not only in his technical skills, but also as a teammate and leader. He comes to every practice ready to give his all, takes accountability for mistakes, and truly never gives up. One of the things coaches love most about Grayson is his desire to improve. He’s always asking for one more rep, one more drill, or wanting to stay just a little longer after practice. It has been so special watching his confidence, dedication, and passion for the game continue to grow throughout the season. Keep working hard, Grayson — we are so proud of you!

Thanks to @tursisocceridaho , we have the opportunity to recognize a second NBFC Spotlight recipient, who also received tickets to Saturday’s EPIC @acboise home game. We’re thrilled to spotlight Megan Goodhew! If you’ve ever worked with Megan in any capacity (through @schoolofsoccerboise or @north_boise_fc ), you know what an amazing person she is. She constantly goes above and beyond in her role as NBFC Registrar, getting registrations and rosters submitted to leagues and tournaments well ahead of deadlines, helping parents and coaches with questions and tech support, and keeping our coaches and managers focused on their team administrative tasks. Megan even manages to corral our chronic procrastinator Executive Director (if you know Stacey, you know) into working on projects well in advance! Simply put, Megan is the glue that keeps North Boise FC together. We couldn’t have managed this epic growth without her. Thank you for all you do, Megan!

Today we are excited to spotlight Coach @coachholly.208 ! 🎉⚽️ Coach Holly has been selected to attend the @acboise game this weekend, and we could not think of someone more deserving. Her passion and dedication to the game of soccer show up in every part of her coaching. She creates an environment where players feel connected, supported, challenged, and empowered both on and off the field. Through her transparency, consistency, and genuine investment in her players, she builds trust, accountability, and confidence within every team she coaches. Coach Holly currently coaches both a 2014 girls team and a 2014 boys team, and she continues to go above and beyond for her players. In addition to regular team practices, she dedicates extra time each week to small-group, skill-focused training sessions to support individual player development. Every session is intentional. She teaches the “why” behind decisions, reinforces discipline and integrity, and helps players grow through purposeful habits and measurable progress. Along with coaching two competitive teams, Coach Holly has also been actively involved with @schoolofsoccerboise, coaching in our U8/U9 Academy and Practice & Play programs. What truly sets Coach Holly apart is the way she connects with her players. She develops soccer skills while also mentoring young athletes in character, resilience, leadership, and work ethic. She leads by example and instills values that extend far beyond the game. She is the kind of coach and role model every parent hopes their child will have in a sports program. When she is not on the field, you can find Holly at @boisestateuniversity as a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering, researching infant biomechanics and studying how infant products affect the way infants move and breathe. The future is bright for Holly, and we are so grateful to have her coaching for NBFC! 💙⚽

So proud of our 2017 Boys Blue & Black teams for giving back to our community! 💙🖤 This week players and parents from both teams spent time volunteering at the Idaho Food Bank, working hard, helping others, and showing what teamwork looks like off the field. They sorted thousands of pounds of food to be distributed throughout the community. One in six Idaho children are food insecure, and the Idaho Food Bank works with food pantries across the state to serve those in need. Beyond soccer, these boys are learning the value of kindness, service, and making a real difference. Way to represent, boys — your effort and heart make us proud! 👏 #CommunityStrong #IdahoFoodBank #2017Boys #MoreThanSoccer

Here’s to the athletes, coaches, leaders, and role models who inspire the next generation to play bold, lead strong, and love the game. #NGWSD #GirlsInSports #WomenInSports #NBFC #LeadLikeAGirl

🌟 COACH SPOTLIGHT: COACH BRANDON We want to take a moment to recognize Coach Brandon for the incredible support he’s given his girls this season. 💙⚽ Coach Brandon leads with patience and encouragement, and he has a gift for helping players see what they can do — not just what they’re struggling with. He celebrates the small wins, teaches his players to believe in themselves, and has built a level of confidence that shows both on and off the field. A parent said, “The growth we’re seeing in the 2015 Girls Blue team is a direct reflection of the positive, steady leadership he brings every day.” Coach Brandon, thank you for investing in our players the way you do. We’re so lucky to have you at NBFC! 🙌💛 #NBFC #CoachSpotlight #ThankYouCoach #NorthBoiseFC #YouthSoccer #NorthBoise #ConfidenceBuilders

Our 2015 Boys White and 2015 Boys Pewter teams had an epic Glow Soccer Game, and wow… what a blast. Under the lights, the boys brought big energy, great teamwork, and nonstop smiles. The vibes were OFF THE CHARTS. These two groups showed exactly what NBFC is all about — working hard, cheering each other on, and making soccer fun. Nights like this build confidence, connection, and memories that last way beyond the final whistle. Way to shine out there, boys! 🌟 and shout out to the parents for making this happen! 🙌 Go NBFC! 💙💛
